Scott Buell announced as Vice President, Business Development.

High Bridge, NJ, April 22, 2010 - Medisys Health Communications, a leader in Scientific and Medical Communications, is pleased to announce the addition of Scott Buell to the management team beginning April 19th.  He has accepted a position as Vice President, Business Development.

Scott comes from a strong Pharma and marketing background.  His professional career started soon after graduating St. Joseph's University in 1997 when he took on the role of Product Manager with Barnett International, a Parexel company.  After establishing his name in the pharmaceutical industry, he moved into the communications field as Senior Account Supervisor at Mueller & Wister.  Since then he has been perfecting his skills over the last decade as Senior Director, Business Development at Elsevier/Excerpta Medica.  Scott's specialty and interests are in new product planning and development, pinpoint solutions, and teambuilding.

Scott was looking for a new, entrepreneurial challenge when he discovered Medisys Health.  Medisys Health was looking for an entrepreneurial spirit to help re-introduce and grow their branded scientific communications platforms.  The matching and the timing could not have been better.  Scott understands the role Medisys Health plays with clients: custom solutions that derive success from an intimate understanding of the client-faculty-audience relationship.

"I want to create, to build, and develop new ideas and new solutions", said an energetic Scott.  "I look for what a client really needs and tailor a custom response to those needs.  At Medisys Health, I'll have the tools, strategic support, and resources to implement these ideas."

Medisys Health's CEO Anna Walz commented, "What I see in Scott is an extension of the personality of our company.  He gets it.  He sees that personal attention coupled with bullet-proof execution is what made our company a success and is what makes us ripe for expansion.  With so much energy and exuberance, we are excited to see how Scott puts his personal touch to our core business."

In anticipation of a Monday start date, the Medisys Health office in High Bridge has been buzzing with excitement.  Final touches are being put on the newly revised and expanded brand materials, the company website is being updated, and additional office space is being carved out to handle the expansion.  "It's a rare company that expands during an industry downturn," said CFO John Walz.  He continued, "We are well positioned to take advantage of this shift because we built Medisys to be scientifically and financially rigorous since its inception ten years ago.  Unlike other reactionary organizations that are being blinded by today's harsh regulatory spotlight, the Medisys Health of ten years ago could thrive in the current environment as easily as we can today."

It's no secret the medical communications industry has gone through a tremendous upheaval.  The dust is now settling, revealing an era of medical communications that must be able to stand up to rigorous scientific, governmental, and financial scrutiny.  As Ms. Walz notes, "This is an exciting time for Medisys as it validates the way our company has been operating for the last ten years even while others had a more casual view of interpreting guidelines and upholding scientific values. Today, Medisys Health's ASSURE platform and ISIS umbrella directly address the universal needs of compliance and scientific worth. The insight of our leadership team and rigorous project execution of our staff create unique yet solid solutions.  Scott's vision, innate skills, and unbridled enthusiasm will be instrumental in matching these answers with our client's communication needs."
